WHAT?!?!? 10,000 Page Views & Giveaway!!!!

10,000... that number is insane to me!!!! I tried to catch the exact number in a picture but this is as close as I could get before it jumped like 50 views

 

**I have to say, I'm a week and a half late with this post but I blame Hurricane Sandy and having no power for a bit! The amazing milestone was hit quicker then I expected and I hadn't had a chance to get out there to pick up stuff for the giveaway**

Ok, so right now the number is actually 11,700 but I promise me being late is worth it for the awesome giveaway i've got for you!!!

So, never in a billion years did I think that in just 4.5 months of food blogging that I'd be anywhere near that many views, let alone hitting that number! When I first started writing I was thrilled to get 20 hits a day, that meant my recipes were seen by someone and that was a thrill to me.

To my huge surprise that number steadily and quickly climbed weekly! Yes, I am aware there are many a blogs out there that get like 4,000 views a day... but for me and my little blog
I am very proud of the progress.

What an exciting venture this has been so far...
Highlights for me...

 1. First and foremost is having people tell me that they really enjoy reading the blog and that they tried a recipe and loved it!!! That is what it is all about!
2. Being part of a community of so many amazing food bloggers
3. Being chosen as Food Blog of the Day on Foodista
4. Seeing numerous of my very own recipes being chosen as featured recipes on Foodista
5. Seeing photos of my food up on FoodPorn
6. Receiving an email from FoodBlogs, scrolling down and seeing one of my recipes listed

My dream.... To one day be able to put together a little cookbook of my stories and recipes! How amazing would that be!!! Really its about having recipes written to be passed on, to inspire others and share my love of food and cooking with others!!!

I can not thank you all enough for reading and sharing LeMoine Family Kitchen with your friends and family!!! I hope you give some recipes a try and enjoy them as much as I do!
