Hey everyone!!! Well I'm back to the frigid weather from sunny Florida! We had a great time in Disney, besides the little guy vomiting a couple times and having a ridiculous fever for the first day and a half, yea that wasn't fun! Otherwise the boys had a blast! Our 3.5 year old is crazy and loves rides! We took him on Big Thunder Mountain 6 times, did Test Track a few times and the kiddie coaster Goofys Barnstormer!
Anyhow, I got out to the grocery store this afternoon, thanks to my brother "Mak" for watching the boys so I had extra cart room. I've got my menu planned for the week, heres a few things on the list... Pan seared tilapia, buffalo grilled chicken, ranch roasted red potatoes and chicken masala!

So, right, the 30th birthday thing... It's a strange thing being in the last week of the 20's. I'm not bothered by the venture into the next decade, heck I'm excited to see what it brings. Now the important part... Cake! I know I just got back from vacation so that means back to eating healthy but there's no way I'm skipping cake on my 30th! I kinda want to go a little nuts and come up with some fancy pants little cake but I don't know what yet.
What's your favorite?
Boxed yellow cake with chocolate frosting? Ice cream cake? Red velvet? Chocolate cake? I'm thinking something with a sweet & salty theme... Maybe something with caramel and pretzels???? Hmmm.... Decisions.....

I love salted caramel so your idea for caramel/pretzel sparks my interest! Martha Stewart once made a 6-layer Salted-Caramel chocolate cake, here is the link =>

I do love red velvet too! It's usually the hubby's choice for his day :-)
